My friend sent me an email this morning for the sweetest thing ever. It’s video streaming live from an eagle’s nest. There’s a mama eagle and some baby eagles and I guess the dad stops by from time to time with fish for the babies too. It sounds kind of strange but it’s really sweet and I have it streaming live behind my work windows and have been checking in when I need a little mental break. It’s so cool to see an eagle being maternal and nesting and nurturing her babies.
From the Decorah Eagles website:
The Raptor Resource Project brings you the Decorah Eagles from atop their tree at the fish hatchery in Decorah, Iowa.
The live video feed is streamed online 24/7. At night an infrared light provides night vision to viewers through the cam. Infrared light is not visible to eagles, they do not see it or know it is there.
Seriously, it’s really sweet. Check it out!
